IBCC Digital Archive

of Bomber Command aircrew (flying from Lincolnshire bases) losses during World War 2 1939 - 1945

The International Bomber Command Digital Archive

The first stage of the creation and digitisation of the archive is now complete with all the names of the losses from the Bomber Command Rolls of Honour, from Lincoln Cathedral, now digitised and checked against a number of sources. We have a team of researchers who are now trying to source more background information on each of the individuals listed. That includes verifying ages, next of kin, rank, names and adding stories, scanned documents and photographs to bring each of these men to life.

You can get involved! If you think you’re relative or ancestor should be included in this information please search through the archive below, check the details and add in any additional information you may have. For those with copies of log books who are interested in having them included in the database and preserved forever, please indicate on the form and one of our researchers will be in contact.

If you are searching for a particular serviceman, please begin by searching for their surname alone. Only if there are too many instances of that particular surname should you need to add further search terms. If this proves necessary, begin with squadron or service country.
